My MIL is an evil lady. My husband has told me her truth ,she is a widow yet have had an affair with someone anh gave that person 20 lacs. Also she practices black magic. The whole family hates her. She was sweet to me in starting but then she was always snobby towards me.also she has accepted everytime that she is wrong and is sorry,yet she repeats it every now and then.my husband has supported me throughout yet wants me to be respectful towards her and not to hold grudges. But his mother holds grudges over me. It's been 3 years of my marriage but the situation is still the same. She acts all innocent infront of my husband but plans and plots against me. I am very frustrated. My husband has asked me to be respectful and also that I will have to deal with her. Otherwise he will get a divorce

As you have mentioned your husband has been supportive to you. I would suggest you and your husband must take couple psychological counseling. May be a psychological intervention would help you both to resolve this ongoing family conflict. Divorce is not the solution.
