Identify 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.Deep Breathing: Practice deep, slow breaths. Breathe in through your nose for a count of four, hold for a count of four, and breathe out through your mouth for a count of four.Useful Therapy: Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), prolonged exposure therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) are effective treatments for PTSD.Talk to trusted friends or family members about your experiences and feelings.
